The water disappeared

Anatoliy Hoodi pokes a thermokarst lake with a stick to show us the methane gas that bubbles up from decomposing organic residues. He is also standing on what used to be a large lake which completely subsided and drained in what Anatoliy describes as an "explosion". The water level dropped over 7 metres.
