Ethnographical museum

Tatiana Seminova shows the special saddles the Evenki people use for riding reindeer. She has worked as teacher for 42 years and is now responsible for the local museum in the Evenki settlement Iengra. Many from this indigenous group of people still survive on hunting and reindeer herding, but climate change and the construction of an oil pipeline outside the village has affected their traditional way of life.
