Break time on the wall

Workers break from the labour intensive rebuilding of a sea defence wall destroyed by cyclone Aila. The cyclone breached the wall the previous year when large parts of the island were flooded and homes destroyed. The local community are worried that the coming monsoon will bring similar disasters. The two new 2 kilometre long wall will take more than a year to finish and could be ruined over a night if extreme weather strikes the Sundarbans like cyclone Aila in 2009.
