Sarswati is one of many locals working to rebuild the destroyed sea defence wall on the south western peninsula of Sagar island. The back breaking work gives Sarswati Das a small amount of money for her family, but she is motivated throughout by the hope of a better future. If the sea continue to rise these low lying island will disappear and the people of Sagar Island will become climate refugees.
