Men carry blocks to lay the foundations of a new section of the 2 kilometre sea defence wall. Around 300 people are involved in the wall building working 11 hour days throughout the agonising mid day temperatures. The two kilometre long wall will take more than a year to finish and could be ruined over a night if extreme weather strikes before it's completion. The construction will continue during the coming monsoon season.
