Minu Sau balances a huge rock for the base layer of the Sagar Island sea defence wall on her head. Despite long and extremely hard working days the atmosphere is positive among the community. All in the community know the importance of the wall, they all share the hope that it will keep them safe from the impacts of climate change. The previous 2 kilometre long wall was destroyed by cyclone Aila. Hundreds of people were killed and more than 22,000 homes were ravaged when cyclone Aila struck the Bay of Bengal in May 2009.
