Coral rehabilitation

Bird's nest coral is re-planted in concrete blocks in an effort to rehabilitate the destroyed reefs on the sea bed outside Pulau Pramukha, Thousand Islands. The locals and the authorities have realised the importance of reefs to support marine diversity and protect the land disappearing into the sea.
