Crossing to Sagar

A family of pilgrims cross the Ganges to visit Sagar Island's Ganasagar temple. In January every year a huge Mela festival is held here were millions of Hindu pilgrims make the journey here from all over India. The pilgrims believe that where the Ganges meets the sea is holy, millions flock here every year for a purifying and healing bathe.
