Town before tundra

A boy plays football on one of the streets in Yar-Sale. The town is the last outpost before the extensive tundra of the Yamal Peninsula and many Nenet families living as nomads hope for an apartment here. As they notice the landscape changing and the increasing dominance of Gazprom they fear for their future, waiting lists are long and the transition from sustainable nomadic life to industrial town are understandably difficult.
