Thousands of pilgrims trek through Lakshman Jhula north of Rishikesh after the Kumbh Mela. The pilgrims undertake the almost 60 kilometre long round trek from Haridwar to visit temples and bathe in the Ganges river. An estimated 16 million pilgrims have visited the festival making it the largest religious gathering on the planet.
